People Like You And Me.

Published March 24, 2014 by Virgo293

When people like you and me meet, we can just talk. We can move ahead with just words. All feelings, all grievances, in fact even miscommunications, have to be communicated. It’s not surprising that in a world like today’s, our voices to each other go unheard. I assume it shouldn’t matter much, there is nothing we can do about it. The cowards that we are, it is almost a given. But that still doesn’t take away the fact that there is a connection these words create.

What do you do then, when you can’t call out to each other? When that is simply not an option. When the umpteen justifications that you hold for not believing the words are enough to hold you back. When life laughs at your impotency and your guts just don’t support you. When your heart secretly whispers, ‘If it is so difficult, it is perhaps not something nature wants.’ When you simply do not know what to say. When the words that you have heard or said, seem to have no value. Believing those words is not something you can do, obviously.

words-12We are perhaps in this game for as long as our passion remains alive. I don’t know if we’ll ever get to taste what life offers beyond words. I sincerely hope we do. I hope the magic that we rely on, has our faith rested in it forever. We badly need it, people like you and me.
After all, everything captured in words is “real” in some parallel universe, anyway!

P.S. I request ‘words’ to not get offended, as a writer they are the best friends I can ever have.
